Effective June 1st 1997 the P.I. & I. family grew to include Middletown, Ohio. This has been a dream of John Kerola and pursued by his sons Joe and Bill. P.I. & I. Sits on approximately 20 Acres and is strategically located between Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio.

P.I. & I. Middletown was once Bob's Truck Service. Like P.I. & I., Bob's was a family owned and oriented company spanning 58 years in the trucking business. The acquisition of Bob's was one of many steps P.I & I. has taken to solidifying its role as a major factor in the regional flat bed trucking industry.

With the growing need in the trucking industry in the southwestern Ohio area, P.I. & I. Motor Express saw the need to step up and expand their operations.

The Middletown, Ohio terminal has the years of experience in their drivers and management team to fulfill the customers' needs.

Jim Zaremski relocated to Middletown in October of 1997 from the home office in Masury, Ohio bringing with him 11 years of experience. Jim being the terminal manager has effectively expanded the operations by picking up new customers and hiring only the most qualified drivers within the area.

Along with Jim, the management staff includes multiple years of experience.

Elmer Briggs as the service manager has over 30 years in the trucking industry with the last 15 years overseeing the equipment maintenance. Elmer first being a driver knows just what the “other side” needs. His well-qualified personnel as on the job to make sure all equipment is serviced and ready for that dispatched load.

Connie Webb has worked in the personnel and safety area with 14 years experience in the trucking field. This includes recruiting new drivers, orientation and sign on as well as safety related situations.
